Constant Cravings

Uuuugggghhhhh. Well, it's finally happened, after 9 full weeks of being positively angelic (well for the most part) and really making some good and positive changes around my diet and exercise - I had my first real cravings.

I had been brilliant all day - taking fruity snacks for the drive to our favourite horse charity to drop off some unused horsey paraphernalia, visited the local farm shop (Becketts Farm) and chose their 'Skinny Brekkie' which sausages aside, is a brilliant choice for me, as far as SW goes, it's all free foods - so I was feeling particularly virtuous. When I got home, hubby had cooked steak, baked potato and salad.....again all excellent, but then it all went horribly wrong.....several slices of bread, a couple of single Time Outs, and some Bourbon creams and I was done for.

The annoying thing is, I knew what I was doing, and was annoyed with myself as I was doing it, but I just had no control over myself!

The old me, would have most definitely thought, to hell with it, and carried on stuffing carbs down my neck and then not gone to SW that week....but new me drew a line under it, actually sat and worked out how many syns that little splurge had equated to.....it was a lot! Then, I wrote it into my food diary sheet for the remaining days - therefore cutting down on the extras I could have for the rest of the week, so that maybe, just maybe, it won't affect me too much on the scales. My gammy foot also started playing up again this week and that coupled with impending moving and lots of sorting out, means that walking has taken a bit of a reduction this week.

Off the scales losses continue though, lost my wedding ring a couple of times yesterday, so really need to keep an eye on that - I think it will be going on a chain before very long so that I don't lose it for real. My belt is also on the smallest hole now, so need to get a new one before my trews start hanging teenage boy style. I was also measured for a bridesmaid dress just before I started SW, so have asked my friend to get a hold of those measurements for me, so that I can keep an eye on the inch loss too.

I have also stuck up my, count 'em 9 SW certificates inside our crockery cupboard, and all up together, they are a real inspiration to carry on doing the good work that I have started, and not give up.

Come on 3 stone loss, bring it on!
